The Blessing Empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa

We ask that you remain silent while Kadam Holly concludes her preparatory prayers in the main gompa until 10:30am. We will start seating people at 10:45am.

Join us to receive the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa, a special transmission of inspiration and insight from this enlightened spiritual guide. Je Tsongkhapa appeared in Tibet 600 years ago and spent his whole life sharing Buddha’s wisdom, helping so many people find freedom from suffering. He was a living embodiment of compassion and wisdom, a meditation master and a great scholar who was renowned throughout the “Land of the Snows” for the clarity, profundity and precision of his teachings. Although he appeared as a humble monk, he was understood to be an emanation of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri – a fully enlightened being living amongst us – guiding many to the liberating path.

During this empowerment we will make a heart connection with Je Tsongkhapa, and learn a beautiful meditation practice called Heart Jewel. Through this practice we can develop the three qualities of wisdom, compassion and spiritual power. This is the best gift we can receive, and the best gift we can give to our world.

Only wisdom and compassion have the power to heal this world.

This Empowerment will be followed by a free Heart Jewel retreat on Saturday, Dec. 15.
