Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. You don’t need a special skill or experience. We have many volunteer positions that can be undertaken by anyone without training, or minimal training. If you do have a special skill, please let us know.
How much time will it take?
It can take as little or as much time as you have. Each and every hour of volunteering counts. Come and speak with us about your schedule and availability.
What kinds of volunteer opportunities are there?
Our volunteer needs range from distribution of flyers, helping in our bookstore, food coordination at events, cleaning, administration, fixing things to other specific skills such as graphic design, web updates, sound recording and photography. How do I get started?
If you are interested in becoming a KMC-LI volunteer you can send an email to our volunteer coordinator Nelly at volunteer@kmcli.org or stop by the center and speak to one of our other volunteers.
