Anger, anxiety, and sadness are triggered in us when think something “out there” is preventing us from meeting our needs. When we can start to see that these feelings are simply habitual reactions arising within our own minds, we can gain a sense of control and confidence. We no longer outsource our pleasure and suffering, nor do we get swept away by our negative states of mind. This series will explore how we can become present with our inner life and learn to accept our own states of mind–even the troubling ones.
