Wisdom, Courage and the Power to Transform Adversity

In these times of widespread doubt and insecurity, we need to come together and confidently connect to our potential to change our world. How can we deal effectively with all the challenges we are currently facing? Can our problems, obstacles, fears and frustrations themselves be fuel for our growth and development?

Buddha teaches that in order to change our world, first we have to change our minds. Contained within Buddha’s teachings is a special set of instructions called Lojong, or Training the Mind, which show us how to transform whatever circumstances we meet, whether good or bad, into opportunities for spiritual growth. Meditation is the tool that allows us to know our own mind and learn to use it in the most beneficial way, generating peace and clarity, even in challenging or chaotic situations. As our wisdom and compassion grow through practicing these instructions, we’ll develop the power and courage to transform adversity, and we’ll inspire those around us to do the same.

Join us for this practical and inspiring course with Special Guest Teacher, American Buddhist Monk Gen Kelsang Menla. Online registration is now closed. You can register on the day of the event.
