Take Your Practice Deeper This Year

Free Foundation Program Introductory Class
Sunday, Jan 20 • 9-11AM

Opportunity to Study Meaningful to Behold‘s Wisdom Chapter

Interested in joining a study program this year in order to take your meditation practice deeper?

There will be a free introductory class on Sunday, Jan. 20 from 9-11am in Huntington with FP teacher Bob Rice, followed by a trial period for interested students.

This is a great opportunity to join the Sunday Foundation Program Class as it journeys into Buddha’s most profound teachings on the true nature of phenomena, emptiness.

Geshe Kelsang says that if we have some experience of emptiness: “Everything becomes very peaceful and comfortable, balanced and harmonious, joyful and wonderful.”

In Meaningful to Behold, Geshe Kelsang reveals and explains various Buddhist school’s teachings on emptiness. This in-depth study will draw you closer to understanding how we and the world actually exist, as opposed to how we perceive them to exist, and through this, we come to realize that emptiness (the realization that all phenomena lack inherent existence) is the answer to all our problems.

This is a “not-to-be-missed” opportunity to experience the FP study program and be part of the exciting climax to this foundational book.

Please join us on Sunday, January 20 for a free introductory class.

KMC-LI also offers a Foundation Program class on Wednesday nights at 7pm, taught by Lynda Rice. The class is currently studying Geshe Kelsang’s Universal Compassion.

If you would like to try out either study program, please send an email to our Education Program Coordinator at epc@kmcli.org.
