Loneliness and isolation are rampant due to the pandemic and many of us are suffering with social anxiety over getting back out into the world. Join us for this Friday afternoon series where we explore the meditations from Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s The New Eight Steps to Happiness, where we principally explore the idea that each of us is a single cell in the vast body of life intimately bound in a web of kindness. By practicing Buddha’s teachings on love and compassion we learn to feel naturally closer to all living beings. When we feel naturally close to all living beings we lose any basis for feeling lonely, isolated or anxious around others.
Pre-registration is required for the online class.
