Challenge yourself to discover the real freedom to be found in a calm and quiet mind. Escape the busyness of daily life and experience a short meditation retreat where everyone observes the practice of silence for a day in order to enhance focus and insight, and to gain a deep level of relaxation. This is an introductory, online silent retreat.
The day will include an introduction to meditation and silent retreat, three guided meditation sessions, and a conclusion and discussion at the end.
The focus of this particular retreat is the nature of the mind. You’ll receive an introduction and be guided in three simple meditations to experience mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on your mind itself. The first meditation lays the foundation for meditating on the mind by helping to temporarily overcome physical appearances. The second introduces you to the clarity of your mind, and the third is a meditation on your root mind. Together they lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness. All these meditations can be practiced by anyone.
Everyone is welcome. No previous meditation experience is required.
