“There is no evil greater than anger, and no virtue greater than patience. Therefore I should strive in various ways to become familiar with the practice of patience.”
– Shantideva
Anger is a truly destructive mind. It serves no function other than to harm us and rob us of our happiness and peace of mind. By cultivating the practice of patience, we can slowly learn to recognize, reduce and ultimately abandon this harmful state of mind.
