Kadampa Kids Day Camp

Our 2022 Kadampa Kids Day Camp is a one day program teaching children how to meditate with practical life lessons such as remembering the kindness of others, developing our love and compassion and practicing forgiveness. Our campers will receive an introduction to some basic Buddhist practices & principals such as prostration and Refuge and will get to meet three very precious and important Buddhas in our tradition: Buddha Shakyamuni, Green Tara and Vajrasattva. Throughout the day, our campers will engage in short, guided breathing meditations and brief teachings followed by fun crafts based on the concepts learned in each session.Each Kadampa Camper will receive a copy of a Kadampa Childrens Book and throughout the course of the day will be creating their own keepsake coloring book. Water, healthy snacks and a pizza lunch will be provided or you are welcome to pack a vegetarian lunch (No meat or fish, please, as we are a Buddhist meditation center 🙂
