Our selfish intentions – although they sometimes feel like our greatest protector – have the power to destroy everything and everyone that is pure and beautiful in our life.  In this course, we will examine the mind of self-cherishing and its mistaken belief that our happiness and freedom are more important than the happiness and freedom of others.  Removing this obstacle from our mind will pave the way for our virtuous potential to grow and flourish. Only in this way will we become the compassionate person we are truly meant to be.
