Many of us explore Buddhism in search of new and effective ways to deal with challenges in our personal lives, within our families and in our world. In Buddha’s teachings, we find practical approaches to the inevitable difficulties of life. We learn not to avoid problems, hoping they’ll go away or resolve themselves, or to respond by feeling overwhelmed or angry. We realistically acknowledge life’s challenges and difficulties. Then, through applying meditative insights, we train in transforming these difficulties into the building blocks for inner strength and confidence, rather than discouragement, anger or avoidant behaviors.
This class will consist of a teaching and meditation followed by discussion.
