Buddhist Answers to Life’s Deepest Questions

Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018
Time: 10am – 1pm

With Special Guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Rigpa

Can we know the answers to life’s deepest questions? In a world of so much confusion and unhappiness, Buddha’s teachings have a tremendous amount of wisdom and clarity to offer on the big topics of our existence. Join us for a unique and creative course that can give meaning, purpose and a spiritual context to life in the modern world. Some of the questions we’ll explore include:

  • What is the meaning of life?
  • Where did we come from? Where are we going?
  • Why is there suffering and evil in the world?
  • What is our highest potential for spiritual development?
  • Who and what is the creator of the world?

Join us as we welcome home Gen Kelsang Rigpa, the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood and the Western US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. Gen Rigpa began his Dharma journey as a student at KMC Long Island (formerly Dipamkara Meditation Center) and served as our Resident Teacher from 2004-07. His heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone.

Registration for this event is required. As this event is likely to sell out, please be sure to register in advance. Thank you.
