When we think of effort we think of pushing ourselves to do things that are good for us, but often are not enjoyable. However, in Buddhism effort is defined as a mind that delights in virtue. It is the feeling of genuine pleasure that comes from engaging in loving and beneficial actions and arises from our wisdom. In this series, we will learn how through progressing on our spiritual path with joyful effort we can enjoy a more relaxed and beneficial life.
Each class will be practical and interactive, involving both meditation and discussion. Classes are well suited for newcomers as well as more advanced practitioners.
