Caring for our Dharma center directly benefits all living beings, purifies negativities, and accumulates positive potential (merit). This is a regular volunteer event held at Kadampa Centers worldwide where community members gather to clean, organize and beautify their local meditation center. What better day to do this than on NKT International Temples Day, honoring the establishment, growth, and global infrastructure of Kadampa Buddhist temples and centers just like KMC Long Island, which is dedicated to public benefit and world peace.
