Kadam Holly McGregor
Kadam Holly McGregor has been the resident teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Long Island for the past nine years. She arrived in Huntington in 2008 from New York City where she studied with Kadam Morten Clausen and taught Foundation Program classes at Chakrasambara Meditation Center (now KMC-NYC). She has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for more than 20 years and is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Kadam Holly is a much admired teacher and is known for her clarity and skill in teaching meditation and Buddha’s practical wisdom, and for her loving and joyful manner. She is native of Montreal, Québec and has a background in holistic health with a special interest in meditation as a path of healing, both for patients and healthcare practitioners. She is a breast cancer survivor, and has experience supporting those who are sick and those who are dying through meditation and spiritual guidance.
Kadam Holly shows by example how we can integrate the practice of Buddha’s teachings into our busy, modern lives.
