Refuge: A Retreat from All Suffering

Saturday, July 14 • 9AM-1PM

Join us for three (3) sessions (9-10am, 10:30-11:30am, 12-1pm) of meditation and contemplation on the practice of refuge.

We all want permanent freedom from suffering. Based on the fear of this continuous suffering, and faith in Buddha, we go for refuge to the Three Jewels. “The meaning of going for refuge is making a promise to receive Buddha’s blessings; to receiving help from Sangha; and to attaining the realizations of the Dharma.” When we sincerely go for refuge, we protect ourself and others from future suffering.

This mini-retreat is good for beginners and advanced practitioners. Come to one session, or come for all the sessions.
