Overcoming Anxiety Through the Practice of Meditation
Anxiety is defined as a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. All of us have experienced or will experience anxiety at some point in our lives. It is normal to feel anxious before trying something new, like applying for a new job, making a move, or anticipating a life transition, but it can be debilitating when we get stuck in worry, apprehension and fear and cannot quiet and still our mind. Meditation is the perfect antidote for countering the unwanted effects of anxiety.
